This policy explains what information El Nogal Carpentry collects when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple because we collect very little.
Who we are
El Nogal Carpentry is a family-run carpentry business based in Olney, Maryland, serving the DMV. You can reach us at elnogal.carpinteria@gmail.com or (202) 670-5436.
Information you give us
When you fill out our contact or quote form, we collect the details you choose to provide: your name, email address and/or phone number, a description of your project, and any photos you upload. We only use this to respond to you and prepare an estimate.
Analytics
We use Umami Analytics to understand which pages are visited. Umami is privacy-friendly: it uses no cookies, collects no personal data, and does not track you across other websites. The data is aggregate and anonymous.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you switch languages, we store a small preference (your chosen language) in your browser so the site remembers it. That is the only cookie-like storage we use.
Spam protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated abuse. Turnstile may process limited technical signals from your browser for that purpose.
Who we share it with
When you submit a form, your information is handled by: Netlify, which hosts the site and processes form submissions; Google (Gmail), where we receive and read your message; and Keystone Labs LLC, which builds and manages this website on El Nogal Carpentry's behalf. We don't sell your information or share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep the information you send us for up to three years after your last contact with us, so we can respond to and follow up on your inquiry. After that, we delete it.
Your choices
We don't currently send marketing emails or text messages. If we introduce them in the future, we'll only send them where you've agreed to receive them, and every message will include a clear way to opt out. You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you or to request that we delete it.
Children's privacy
This site is meant for adults arranging carpentry work and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date below.
